  • League: Themed Competition Results `Trees’ – April 2015

    The sixth internal club competition of the 2014-15 season took place on Wednesday 8 April. The set subject was “Trees” to which the programme notes added “From individual specimens to abstract forests and close up details” The competition was judged by Roger Hill, a former member of LBPC. Each entry was marked out of twenty.   • League: Open 3 Competition Results – February 2015

    The fifth internal club competition of the 2014-15 season took place on Wednesday 25 February. This was the final “open” competition of the season and, as usual, the entries displayed a wide variety of subjects, approaches and styles – covering wildlife, flowers, landscapes, portraiture, candid/street, architecture and much more for both prints and projected digital images (PDIs). And there was a substantial turnout of club members keen to view the images and hear the views – and scores! – of the judge.     4th Competition 2014-15 The fourth internal club competition of the 2014-15 season took place on Wednesday 21 January. The set subject was “Communication” to which the programme notes added “Objects, places or people involved in all aspects of communication. Abstracts and close-ups welcome too. Images can show actual or implied communication between humans, animals, plants, machines, even aliens!” The competition was judged by Andrew Kirby on his debut as a CACC (Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs) judge.
