The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain

All CACC Member Clubs are also affiliated to the PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain). The PAGB co-ordinates the interests of all its UK Member Federations and their Member Clubs. To this end, the PAGB organises photographic events for its Federations and their Clubs and Club members.

Inter Club Print Championship

The Inter-Club Print Championship is held usually each October. Federations each nominate two Clubs to take part alongside the Finalists from the previous year. The category is Open. Trophies and PAGB medals are awarded to the winning Clubs. Medals are also awarded to individual images.

TICKETS: Anyone may attend, and a ticket form is available HERE.

RULES: The Rules are available HERE. The closing date for Federations to nominate their representative Clubs is around the end of August. Participating Clubs will be sent instructions to enter, timetables, venue details and a ticket application form usually in early September.

Entrant: The Club is responsible for ensuring the eligibility of Photographers and Images.
Photographers: A photographer may only be entered by one Club each year.
Images: An image may only be entered once (all Clubs and all years combined). An image in a Club’s bank, which is not used in any round, has not been entered and remains eligible in a future year. Guidance

ENTRIES: The initial round of entries are declared in advance. Other entries are chosen at the event from an unlimited bank. Participating Clubs are issued with details to make their entries HERE.

Inter Club Projected Digital Image Championship

The Inter-Club Projected Digital Image Championship is held each July. Federations each nominate two Clubs to take part alongside the Finalists from the previous year. The category is Open. Trophies and PAGB medals are awarded to the winning Clubs. Medals are also awarded to individual images.

GB Trophies (Prints)

The PAGB GB Trophy is an Inter-Club competition (introduced in 2015) for unmounted Prints. There are two separate competitions – GB Trophy (Open – Mono and Colour), and GB Trophy (Nature).

The GB Trophies for Prints are held each November. Clubs enter directly, without any pre-qualification. Clubs may enter the Open Trophy, and may also enter the Nature Trophy. Awards are made to the winning Clubs. A number of awards are declared for individual images. A significant selection of prints are placed in albums for display at PAGB events.

GB Cups (Projected)

The GB Cups for Projected Images are held each January. Clubs enter directly, without any pre-qualification. Awards are made to the winning Clubs. A number of awards are declared for individual images and groups of images.
Any Club may enter either the Open Cup or the Small Clubs Cup. ‘Small Clubs’ refers to the number of entries a Club wishes to submit and not to the number of members in a Club.
Any Club may enter the Nature Cup.

PAGB Masters of Print

The PAGB Masters of Print Competition is held each October, followed by a public Exhibition. Individual Photographers who are members of affiliated Clubs may enter directly, without any pre-qualification. Photographers may enter prints to any combination of the Monochrome, Colour and Nature Categories, and awards are made to individual prints. Prints are then selected for the Exhibition. Awards and Selections for the Exhibition will also be published in the Exhibition Catalogue.

TICKETS: Tickets are not available for the Competition judging. There is free entry to the Exhibition.
